Artist Statement
The purpose of my work is to celebrate and embody the ways of our ancestors to encourage and strengthen our connection to ourselves and our environment. Each piece is greatly influenced by indigenous spirituality and technology. Intentional brushstrokes and bold ancient faces in acrylic on canvas paired with elements of nature inspire us to protect and sustain natural habitats, artifacts and schools of thought.
